Why do we come back, time and time again, to Tuscany? Why do we breath?
For those who come to know the Tuscan landscape, the people and the food, the question of what to do is never an issue. Tuscany boasts:
- one of the longest virgin coastlines in Italy;
- the islands of Elba and Giglio;
- the historic cities of Florence, Pisa, Arezzo, Cortona, Siena;
- thermal baths of Saturnia, bagno Vignoni, Rapolano Terme;
- purely delicious food: wild boar, deer, pheasant, truffles, porcini, pici;
- the UNESCO heritage site: the Val d'Orcia;
- world reknowned wines of Montalcino and Montepulciano;
- Florence's art treasures;
- rolling hills for bicycling;
- walking trails linking one medieval village to the next;
- hot air ballooning;
- and so much more.
But most people come to relax while they experience Tuscany and its people. To sit with a glass of wine, a piece of bruschetta and the Tuscan sunset...talking to a friend while completely forgetting everything from daily life. A dip in the pool. An late afternoon stroll through one of the thousands of small villages. A conversation with local farmers over coffee in the Piazza. In other words, experience life as we live it in Tuscany.
