The owners are from a noble family and have been in the industry for many years. The whole complex is managed from the ancient 13th century abbey that has been immaculately restored including the chapel and refectory.
Many guests never leave the estate during their stay, passing the time swimming, horse riding, walking, fishing and relaxing. On the edge of the vast nature reserve that makes the Val d'Orcia a perfect spot for nature lovers. All manner of flora and fauna can be found throughout the grounds including tuscan deer, wild boar, rabbits, foxes as well as plant life to satisfy any botanist.
