Approximately 35 km from Tenuta di Spineto.
Montepulciano
The town is situated 605 meters above sea level between the Val d’Orcia and the Valdichiana and is surrounded by olive groves and vineyards. It is renowned for its Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG wine and the famous “Bravio delle Botti” a race between the eight town quarters where contestants roll large wine barrels uphill through the town’s winding narrow streets. Approximately 25 km from Tenuta di Spineto.
Montalcino
The town is situated at one end of the Val d’Orcia, on the border of the province of Grosseto. It is famous throughout the world for its “Brunello di Montalcino” DOCG red wine.
